Teleconference Services
The Media Center hosts a wide variety of teleconferencing services including video over IP,
H.323/H.264, and satellite uplink and downlink services. Ka’a’ike features seven Distance Education classrooms, plus two teleconference rooms, allowing instructors to broadcast two-way synchronous courses to Outreach Education Centers within the 10-campus University of Hawaii System.
Video over IP services allow teleconferences worldwide via the Internet. Ka’a’ike is also home to
MCC-TV, the college’s 24/7 educational cable channel. Advanced reservations for teleconference services are required. Please contact Deanna Reece for more information.
